XYZ Marine Products, incorporated in 2005, has designed and produced a revolutionary new general-purpose marine anchor. In nine years of development, the XYZ Anchor® made extensive use of high-end CAD computer simulation to model its behavior in various sea bottoms in any possible situation. In addition, severe field-testing was conducted worldwide on sand, mud, grass, weeds and rocks.
This research and testing yielded a completely new concept, both visually and functionally. The patented XYZ Anchor® sets a new standard in anchor design that will make conventional anchors obsolete.
The lightweight XYZ Anchor® is made of the highest quality steel.
We expect to win any comparative, non-biased anchor test.
Although the sleek, sculptural design will appeal to yachtsmen, the XYZ Anchor® can easily be used for various applications such as commercial, oil rigs, Police and Coast Guard.
About the XYZ Name
In mathematics and the physical sciences, XYZ refers to coordinates in a 3-dimensional model. XYZ is universally accepted as the standard to define space.
The name derives from the right-hand rule. If the index finger of the right hand is pointed forward, the middle finger bent inward at a right angle to it, and the thumb placed at a right angle to both, the three fingers indicate the relative directions of the x-, y-, and z-axes in a right-handed system. The thumb indicates the x-axis, the index finger the y-axis and the middle finger the z-axis.
