All prices are shown in U.S. Dollars (USD, US$). We gladly accept Visa and MasterCard, wire transfers, certified checks or money orders in U.S. Dollars drawn on a U.S. bank. Please contact us for details.

Shipping & Payment Terms:

We generally ship merchandise within 2 business days of payment confirmation by UPS Ground Shipping for continental U.S. International shipping is done by air shipping. We also ship overnight on a request. Please call for rates for special delivery on domestic and international shipping; we do ship all over the world.

Customs, Duties & Import Fees: Customs procedures and charges vary from country to country and XYZ Marine Products is not responsible for any costs, delays or problems caused by shippers or customs once the shipment leaves our warehouse. All costs associated with importation are the sole responsibility of the customer and will be collected at time of customs clearance and/or upon delivery in destination country. Import costs, taxes, VAT, shipping charges are not included in merchandise price. Please check with local officials to get a cost estimate before placing your order. If customs duties are not paid, goods will be abandoned and no refund given.

Guarantee:

We are so convinced that our XYZ Extreme Anchors are the best available anchors that we back every one with an exclusive Lifetime Limited Warranty against bending only when used in seabed such as sand, mud clay and other soft bottoms. Guarantee is limited to repair or replacement of the parts of the anchor or of the complete anchor. If you find anchor to be defective, contact us immediately upon receipt, we’ll repair, replace the item or give a full refund. Should any XYZ anchor, purchased from us, no longer perform as originally intended due to workmanship, or even accidental damage, as described above, return it to us with paid postage and return postage prepaid, and we will either replace it with original or new model or repair it at our option for as long as you own it.

The guarantee does not apply to replacements or repairs resulting from normal wear and tear of the product, deterioration and corrosion. The guarantee does not apply to use on rocks and hard sea bottoms, and lack of proper assembling. Our guarantee disappears if the parts of the anchor or if complete anchor is misused, altered or repaired without our agreement. Light discoloration may occur on the surface of stainless steel, but should disappear during usage and this is not covered by our guarantee. XYZ Marine Products reserves the right to update, change specifications and improve its products at any time without notice. STAINLESS STEEL CABLE WIRE MUST BE REPLACED EACH SEASON OR AFTER A MAXIMUM OF SIX (6) MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE PURCHASE.

XYZ Marine Products Lifetime Warranty does not apply to products that are not XYZ-branded, even if packaged or sold with our XYZ products. We will except returns if you are unhappy with your purchase. Simply contact us within six months of the receipt to arrange a return. Our galvanized XYZ Extreme Anchors could be returned if you are not completely satisfied with performance or for any other reason. We will refund you except for shipping costs. Our stainless steel, mirrored polished anchors can be returned in 6 months for full refund, except for shipping cost, ONLY IF THEY WERE NOT USED, SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED. All returns MUST BE AUTHORIZED. XYZ Marine Products reserves the right to update, change specifications and improve its products at any time without notice.

It should be understood that the extreme high holding power of the XYZ Ω anchor applies ONLY to GOOD bottom conditions, such as deep, consistent sand. Some seabed surfaces offer poor holding to ANY anchor. The setting and holding ability of ANY anchor is not only a function of anchor size, weight and design; it is also a function of the seabed surface and its substance.

Performance data on hard to penetrate bottoms are unreliable, therefore are not presented on XYZ Marine Products website. Performance data for XYZ anchors, are also based on using appropriate size rode for the anchor weight and boat length. XYZ Marine Products does not grant any warranty on holding power or performance.

Testing to failure was done several times using various 11 lbs/5kg – 32lbs/15kg XYZ anchors. In the USA, tests were done on deep consistent and/or mixed sand, at numerous locations in Long Island Sound, NY. We used a 45’/15 ton, 400HP fishing boat. The boat is owned by Captain Jim McGinness, who witnessed all the testing. Similar tests have been done on the Croatian Adriatic with boats up to 1000 HP. Tests were done with high RPM achieving sudden impact to the anchor that was properly set. Several times we broke 3/4“/20mm (rated at 13,000 lbs/6 ton) three- strand twisted Nylon rope. We also broke 3/8”/10mm stainless steel cable wire and 5/16”/8mm chain. Of all of the anchor line, chain was the hardest to break! After repeatedly testing to failure, and having the anchor rode fail, the XYZ anchor was carefully inspected. IT SUFFERED NO DAMAGE OR DEFORMATION!

Our destructive testing was dangerous. The tests required substantial engineering knowledge, safety preparation and procedure, and adequate equipment. We, at XYZ Marine Products do NOT encourage such testing by individuals.
